The Buxton Festival Approaches!

My goodness it has been a busy busy term, and with three weeks to go until term finishes we have so much to fit in!

Recently I have had further hand doubling appearances for BBC's Doctors, for a plot line airing in October this year. Lots of fun to film and great to work with a friendly and talented cast and crew! Alongside ABRSM preparation (good luck to everybody with exams starting from next week!) and the regular accompaniment/teaching, it was lovely to play for a wedding in the beautiful sunshine at the Mcdonald Craxton Wood Hotel in Cheshire at the end of the half term week. Beautiful setting and a very happy couple!

Over the next couple of weeks, flautist Rachel Johnson and I are making our final preparations for our appearance at the Butxon Festival on Sunday 13th July, with an intense and beautiful program of purely Russian and Ukrainian composers to reflect the recent struggles, featuring the powerful Prokofiev Sonata for flute and piano. The concert begins at 8pm with tickets available on the door, and we would love to see as many people there as possible!

More information on tickets and venue can be found at the Buxton Festival website, or via the contact form on the my website!
