Hand doubling, more exams and upcoming concerts!

Yet again it has been slightly longer than anticipated since my previous blog post - what a busy year this is turning out to be - so what's been going on at JPM HQ?

I've been keeping myself busy with some exciting hand doubling work for a new period drama in the early stages of filming - I can't say any more about it but I'll be sure to post the details of when to watch later in the year!

On top of A level accompaniment, the usual ABRSM preparation and  covering church music for a colleague on sick leave, my duo partner and I are currently working flat out to bring you some fabulous Prokofiev for the Chorlton Arts Festival. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE DATE OF THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED - we will be performing at St Werburgh's Road Church at 1.30PM on Tuesday 20th May.

Other concerts include a lunchtime recital with singer Gemma Prince at Manchester Cathedral (again!) on Saturday May 17th (where you will also catch me playing some lovely solo works by Gershwin and Corigliano) and the Buxton Festival in July; details to follow.

Do feel free to get in touch via the contact form if you would like any more details regarding any of the events mentioned above.
